Presbyterian Women

September is the beginning of a new year for Presbyterian Women. It is also the beginning of a new Bible study for our Circles. We currently have three Circles, Circle #1 meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 10:00am, Circle of Friends meets the 1st Saturday of the month at 10:00am and Deborah Circle meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. However, Presbyterian Women is not just about Circles…it’s every woman in the church. So whatever event is planned, we want to include all of our women so you can use your God-given gifts and talents to the glory of God.
We have an annual, weekend, Fall Retreat at Springmaid Mountain, NC, that is a much anticipated event. During this time, we have a Bible study and enjoy the fellowship of all who attend.
Presbyterian Women sponsor many projects including mission projects within our own community. We have sent boxes of snacks and other items to our service men and women; donated coats to the Battered Women’s Shelter; donated toiletries and toys to the Health Dept. for families with special needs and this is just a few of the many, many things that we can do as Presbyterian Women. We are a caring community of women who have the opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship.
