Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk

The youth group will be encouraging the congregation in the coming weeks to participate with your feet and with your money to fight hunger in the Charlotte community and around the world. Don’t miss out on the exciting missionary opportunity.
For many years we have participated in the greater Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk, whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for fighting hunger. Sometimes our participation in this event is coordinated through the your group and sometimes through the Mission Team, but either way church members can sign up to walk or sponsor a walker for this annual October event. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised on the 6k walk are used to support local agencies and the remaining funds support poverty fighting projects in 80 countries around the world.
