Starfish Mission Project
PARTICIPATE IN THIS WONDERFUL SUMMER MISSION PROJECT: “Starfish” is looking for Central Steele Creek to get involved in a Literacy Program called “Starfish” that is completely funded by scholarship. They take children who are reading below grade level – and who also qualify for free lunch – and spend the summer helping them increase their literacy skills. It’s a fabulous program and it has phenomenal results. Central Steele Creek Presbyterian could really help the program by providing book bags / backpacks for these kids to take to school. They need 64 book-bags and if they could be stuffed with some school supplies, that would be fantastic!
